Summary of Evaluators' Comments

There is a mysterious link "!" (perhaps the link of the invisible web tracker) at the bottom of every page), ksi when i pressed that link (na-curious lang po), nothing happened or the current page didn't change into another page. Wala lang po, I just noticed it. Di kasi pinatawad ng screen reader eh, hehehe...

Anyway, I believe that this web site passes the Manila ICT/Maturity Stage 1 compliance. Wow, it's nice to know na dumadami na ang government web sites na nag-ko- comply sa web accessibility!

Congrats po sir Tads!!!

Lourdes

Sir Tadz, thank you for the effort. I believe matagal na itong site accessible. I think it was renovated a few months after our Interface in Cebu last 2006, right? I heard it even won in the Regional Web Design Awards. The only thing lacking is the Accessibility Statement which is the number one Recommendation sa Manila ICT Designs. Since you already made one, then it definitely passed the PWAG Maturity Stage 1 Recommendations. Congratulations to Cebu City Government Official Website!

It passes the Manila ICT/Maturity Stage 1 compliance, it's a good start.

Here are some recommendations:

  1. Add access keys, they are vital to accessibility
  2. Provide Title tags for hyperlinks
  3. On your accessibility statement says - >> 4. Uses Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for visual layout. It is misleading. You are using tables for layout, you just encapsulated the whole table in one div (layer). This is not a CSS layout. It believe that statement has to be removed.

But as I said this is a good start, hopefully we can have more govt websites which has this initiative, kudos to you and your team!

Congrats Sir Tads! and yes, welcome to PWAG family as a full-fledged member!
