Philippine Web Accessibility Group

A Philippine Initiative for UN Web Accessibility Design Compliance

After accepting the mandate of establishing a web accessibility adhoc group from the Philippine government in the 11th of August 2006, a team of web designers assembled together and adopted the name Philippine Web Accessibility Group or simply PWAG. We are a non-profit, government registered, association of web designers and advocates of web accessibility based in the Philippines.

PWAG is mandated by the National Council on Disability Affairs, National Computer Center (now Department of Science and Technology - ICT Office) and the Department of Interior and Local Government to promote full compliance of all government websites.
